002 → Club América x Paisa Boys

From Chilangos Para Chicanos

To launch the new Club América jersey inspired by its massive fanbase in California, we stepped away from traditional photoshoots and into real matchday life.

We started from a simple truth: this jersey has always belonged to the people. So instead of building a production around it, we stepped into a real matchday Saturday, where the community already was. Homes, streets, backyards, and neighborhoods became the set. Real fans became the cast.

Under “From Chilangos to Chicanos”, the campaign captured the cultural bridge between Mexico City and Los Angeles through lived moments, not performances. We documented how Club América exists beyond the stadium, inside family rituals, shared meals, music, and pre-game gatherings.

At the center was la troca, a powerful symbol of migration, hustle, and connection. A visual anchor representing the journeys that have carried identity, pride, and fandom across borders and generations.

This was not a traditional jersey launch. It was a tribute to a community and a legacy, honoring those who wear Club América from the streets of Iztapalapa to the barrios of East LA.
